Type 30 – KegLand MK5 Regulator

The Type 30 – KegLand MK5 Regulator is the next generation of the proven KegLand Type 30 regulator, designed for precise pressure control when carbonating and dispensing beer or other carbonated beverages. Its precision diaphragm ensures a stable, finely adjustable gas flow. The outlet pressure is clearly visible on the triple scale gauge (bar, psi, kPa).

The MK5 comes with an integrated Duotight 8 mm push-in fitting with shut-off and check valve, allowing easy connection of 8 mm OD EVA Barrier tubing. With the separately available SodaStream adapter, the MK5 can also be used with SodaStream cylinders. A colour-coded 6.5 bar (100 psi) safety pressure relief valve (PRV) is pre-installed.

Connection to CO₂ cylinders is tool-free thanks to the new handwheel with spigot seal. The internal design has been upgraded so that maintenance can be carried out from the back using a hex key – no special tools or vise required. Reinforced steel gauges and a durable UHMW polyethylene seat cap provide long service life in everyday brewing use.

Note: On some CO₂ cylinders, the protective collar around the valve may be so close that it interferes with the regulator handwheel. In such cases, the collar of the cylinder must be removed.
