The Brass Threaded Insert for Tap Handles – 3/8"-16 is designed for making custom wooden tap handles. The insert screws directly into a suitable pre-drilled hole and provides the correct thread for mounting the finished handle onto compatible NukaTap and Intertap faucets.
A 1/2" (12.7 mm) hole is required for installation. The insert can then be screwed into the wood using a large flat-head screwdriver. It should be aligned straight and installed without excessive downward pressure so the external thread cuts cleanly into the wood.
