60cm Thermowell (8mm(5/16') OD) Includes duotight 8mm (5/16') x 1/4inch thread with o-ring and nut – stainless thermowell for accurate, protected temperature sensing during fermentation (pressure-rated).

This original FermZilla thermowell lets you run active fermentation temperature control when paired with a temperature probe and a cooling/heating setup (e.g. FermZilla Temp Twister coil). The probe sits inside the thermowell, stays dry and protected, and reads beer temperature reliably without being exposed to liquid or pressure.

Installation is flexible : you can use a matching lid as an accessory, or drill a 12 mm hole in a suitable fermenter lid and mount the thermowell via the included Duotight bulkhead fitting. That also makes it usable on many non-FermZilla fermenters (e.g. Speidel-style tanks). For fermenters with less than 60 cm internal height, the thermowell must be shortened to fit.
