35L Snub Nose - Gen 3
The same reliable, low profile 35L conical tank with the G3 Lid that provides brewers with a higher level of fermentation control with a thermowell.
All round Snub Nose is the best closed bottom fermenter on the market for price, performance and reliability.
The new lid features are easier to use and provide a better seal since the lid components now fit neatly into the neck of the fermenter.
The conical shape helps stack yeast at the bottom and minimises liquid contact with the trub from your fermentation.
Don't get me wrong, we love the idea of being able to dump out the trub and save the yeast and the dry hopping through the collection jar etc.
But at the end of the day in our personal opinion (and after dealing with a lot of customer issues with them) we believe that it is actually much easier just to get a second pressure vessel without a dump valve and transfer the brew across leaving the trub behind to do what you want with. You can go straight to keg or to another vessel to dry hop and age in.
Want to dry hop in the same vessel at the end of fermentation? Grab a hop bag and 2 magnets, put one in the bag with the hops and use the other on the outside of the Snub Nose to hold it up out of the way near the top of the fermenter till you're ready to dunk them in. Easy, effective, no chance of oxygen or bacteria contaminating and definitely no chance of blocked valves, stuck threads, etc.
Considering these are almost half the price of the full-featured Saurus or Zilla that isn't crazy to get 2 and you can also use one of the 19 l keg or an ordinary mini keg for it too.
We love they have the floating dip tube and ball lock posts included which you dont have to pay extra . Win-Win in our opinion.

Perfect fermenter for cheap presurised fermenting
Surely the best value pressure fermenter out there. Cone allows you to really get almost all of the beer out when transferring to the serving keg. I’ve had no leaks, and have pressurized it up to 30psi with no problems.
Guter Fermenter als Einstieg in die Druckgärung. Freundliches und hilfsbereites IKEGGER-Team.
Very happy with my purchase, covered everything from start to finish, great support from the guys at ikegger, Cheers!
